The Thinking Cap Corporation was created in 2007 with the express purpose of instruction incorporating principles of problem solving.  We will teach skills that will enable a student at many levels throughout their academic career, from kindergarten to college, and beyond. Our goal is to develop a student’s academic ability so they may be confident and successful in the classroom.

The Thinking Cap Corporation employs results-driven tutors from a variety of backgrounds, education levels and experiences in accordance to the programs they teach.  Ultimately, our reputation hinges on the ability of our teachers to help students achieve all of their goals in every aspect of their education.  Please feel free to read about our management team below.

Bradley Everett, CFA:  President

Brad Everett is the founder and President of The Thinking Cap Corporation. 

His passion for education began in 2004 when he worked for a large, nationally known tutoring franchise.  As an outsider to the education industry, he quickly identified improvements to the assembly-line approach to education that the company applied to every student.  The Thinking Cap Corporation was founded in 2007 in an effort to accommodate many learning styles and find multiple approaches to delivering the same information.  Neither students nor teachers are created equal and by creating a flexible learning environment, students can meet their highest expectations. “By focusing on each individual student, we are able to create strategies and offer solutions that a child can carry with them throughout a long life of learning, not simply while they are sitting in class,” Everett said.

Brad received a degree in Applied Mathematics from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.  He has spent the majority of his career in the investment industry, beginning on the advisory and retail side before turning to analyst and research roles.  He currently holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  His unique background has helped to provide equally unique methods to help students in all levels of mathematics. 

Heather Lobb:  Vice President of Operations

Heather Lobb is a partner and the Vice President of Operations of the Thinking Cap Corporation.

Heather earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Management at Millersville University in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  After spending a few uneventful years in the Accounting field, she decided to go in a much different direction.  Now able to combine her love for children and her appreciation for education, she is the co-owner/operator of a licensed childcare. 

Heather has said that the most satisfying and enjoyable part about being a partner of the Thinking Cap Corporation is hearing the excitement (and usually relief!) in a student’s voice when they receive their improved test scores.  The individualized teaching methods incorporated at the Thinking Cap make each experience with a student different from the last, and each successful session means all of the hard work has paid off.  From the younger children in the childcare to the older students at the Thinking Cap, Heather is very proud to be a part of each learning experience.
